Chatting to host Andrew White on the radio programme Pulse Of The Nation, Sandra Hannah opens up about how much she has earned from the viral video: “I didn't make anything off Chanel. Anything I made from This Morning, went to the people who found Chanel. Well, if it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have got it back. Everyone else made him like merchandise, just like T shirts, shower kits and shower caps with my crying face on the shower cap with your crying face”
Also in this episode, Sandra gave an update on what she is working on now: “I’m doing extra work, I was in This City Is Ours. But at the moment, I haven't really done anything and I'm trying to focus on doing the garden. But I'm just waiting. I don't apply for things. I wait for them to contact me”
She continued: “Someone's just asked me to apply for the new TV series coming out. I can't say what it is. Well, I'm going to apply for that.”
Sandra spoke about the reaction to the viral video and online trolls: “On that day, I was getting stupid messages. My daughter was getting harassed. They would all say the found my parrot. It was a pigeon, loads of horrible, nasty stuff. And then we got this one the next day, saying, I've got your parrot. And she sent a picture of it on and I just seen it. I knew it was Chanel.”
