Chatting to hosts Ali Milani and Zoë Grünewald on the political programme Politics Uncensored, the victim's relative opened up about the council's tactics to divide families after the disaster: "They did, and it's happened to my family, to me. It's happened to me personally. Within my family. I didn't ask for nothing from the council. I only asked for justice, because as far as I'm concerned until now, those people were murdered."

He continued to say"On top of that, it's a building that contains a lot of foreigners, a lot of non-English speakers, and I'll tell you this: when we had meetings with them in parks with survivors they will ask them to get lawyers. They were shocked, they didn't understand how the system worked. They didn't know what the inquiry meant. They didn't know what inquest meant."

Later in the interview, Mr Chellat talks about systematic dishonesty"TMO, it's just a puppet of the council. They wanted [the council], can you imagine, they wanted to save six hundred thousand pounds, and they spent millions on the carnival. So, nothing being considered. And the report, the damage report, regarding the TMO itself! So to me, and the systemic dishonesty, it's clear. Why do we have to wait to 2026 and 2027?"

Mr Chellat was also asked what message he would like to send to PM Keir Starmer: "Justice and not to happen again. Justice for Grenfell, justice for the death, justice for the murder of Grenfell. And not to happen again. That's what we're asking for, nothing else."
