Recently on FUBAR Radio, Cheryl Fergison has opened up about the shocking revelation that her mum kept her pregnancy with the EastEnders actress completely under wraps.
Chatting to host Andrew White on the radio programme Pulse Of The Nation, the soap star opened up about her mother keeping her pregnancy a secret: “There's been some real ups and downs in my life. It started in an odd way, and we joking in the family that, I started off as appendicitis because my mum hid me. I mean she hid her pregnancy, so everybody thought she was going in for an appendicitis, and it wasn't out popped me.”
She named a chart-topping icon she'd love to duet with: “I would quite like to do a collaboration, either a cover or one of his own, with Lewis Capaldi. That would be my go to”
She continued: “I think, even if it's like one of these charity singles, it needs to basically pull the world a bit together, and we all need to join that love train. And I'd be happy to be that one that's not very well known, but I'll sing on it a bit like Live Aid”
Also in this episode, Fergison spoke about her financial difficulties and how her co-star helped: “I got cancer and I couldn't afford my mortgage, people like Barbara Windsor and Linda Henry, they all helped out. I went to Barbara's house and I was only about a week away from having surgery, and she literally wrote a cheque out for my mortgage and for bills for me for the next couple of months”
