Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins star Anthony Ogogo says he doesn’t regret his words to the cameraman he threated to throw off a mountain.
Chatting to host Bobby Norris and guest co-host Stella Akinwumi, the professional fighter revealed he stood by his actions during the altercation: “I underestimated how much that show was going to push me emotionally. I’m not going to lie, the geezer was being a c*nt. He was! This pr*ck just filmed me as I stood there and wet myself. I said to him “when I get a hold of you, I’m going to throw you over the cliff you c*nt” or something like that. It was said funny. I was obviously joking.”
He continued: “What annoyed me was, later we had a chat, I apologised and I think we had a hug. It was fine. Then the staffs gave me a brutal beasting. So he’s either grassed on me or someone else has. That annoyed me because I apologised already and he made me wet myself!”
In response to being asked by host and SAS co-star Bobby Norris whether he regretted threatening the cameraman, Anthony replied: “No I don’t. We had a chat about it because it was in the headlines and I had to speak to the production company. They said they weren’t going to show it. They should have shown it! It would have been funny! Also I wanted them to show me getting beasted because I look tough in it. I didn’t like being called a bully because I’ve never been a bully in my entire life. It was just cross words. And he called me a d*ck or something too! It wasn’t all one way. He gave me some as well.”
Later in the interview, Anthony Ogogo revealed a huge unseen moment on the show: “One night, we were lying in bed, and the ceiling fell down! They cut that out didn’t they! The ceiling fell down. We were sitting there, about to go to bed, and then Chris Robshaw said "I think the ceilings fallen down". That obviously wasn't part of the show, just shoddy craftsmanship. And then we had to leave and go and sleep in the dining room which was Baltic cold.”
